Panerai PAM 13 wrist watches news:
IMG_0179.jpgBTW, can anyone give us a history of this Omega series?
I'd like to see some photos if you do. It looks like the green dial is only available on two tone models (at least that's the only ones I've seen.). Due to an impulsive action, I'll have to put off another purchase I had in mind because I saw an offer on an Infusion I couldn't resist. Under $100 for new in the box with tags (not LNIB, actually new from a dealer) how could I resist? The one I'm waiting for has a silver dial, and is not two tone.
I came upon these from a client of mine (I deal in coins and currency) and I am studying to understand more about the age, importance and value of these two watches. Reference #2552 and case # 686450 on the Tiffany Patek Philippe and reference #3445/6 and movement 1117147 on the second ( I believe originally purchased in 1971.) I welcome any comments and observations from the experts on this forum. Thanks in advance for any help.patek1.jpgpatek2.jpg
Aside from gold value (where it applies), why do IWC watches cost so much?Curious about your thoughts.
I am new to the world of watch collecting, etc. new to forum also. I recently purchased a ¡®lot¡¯ of watches from an estate sale, including a couple of gruen¡¯s, a longines, an empire? and an old looking Benrus that was made either for a very petite woman or adolescent female. I have not had any luck in researching its origins. I will include the pics that I have taken, but what I know so far the number on the outside back of the case seems to be irrelevant, there is a hand etched number on the inside of the back of the case, believe it is W-764-V-, on the inside of the fixed white gold band it reads ¡°BENRUS 1/6 10K GF¡± it appears that there are two small diamonds, one on the top of the bezel and one on the bottom. can anyone help me with this?
