My First Hamilton: Jazzmaster Square or Trent?
Hi all,I have been wandering around the forum for a little bit and have an itch to purchase my first Hamilton. I want something classy, but not too small on the wrist. I am used to 42mm-45mm divers. I love the look of the Trent but tried it on and the deployment buckle was not comfortable to me. I also like the Jazzmaster square but haven't seen it in person. Is there anyone that can weigh the pros and cons of each watch? Would you guys recommend I go with something else? Also, I have seen the Jazzmaster square for $268. I think its a good deal but wonder about the site......Any help would be appreciated.Mark

Leaving the crown unscrewed
Whenever I see a post about water getting into a watch I always see people asking about the crown and whether or not is was screwed on and it has me thinking...How common is it to not screw the crown in? I always have mine screwed on. When I unscrew it to set I always immediately screw it back on. Does anyone not do this? Are the cases of not having the crown screwed on because it is common to leave it unscrewed unless it is needed (e.g. to swim) in order to save wear and tear? Or do some people somehow forget to screw in the crown after setting the watch?

Hello All!!! Got in touch with my AD yesterday ... inquired about a sea dweller 4K , Sub date LN and the hulk ...!!!Sea Dweller 4K and Sub date LN were in stock brand new if you can imagine and the hulk had to be ordered .Now I¡¯ve already purchased 3 Rolex from this ADso I already have an established relationship... when I asked about pricing I got list price on all 3 pieces !!!! No concession whatsoever!!!! Needless to say I wasn¡¯t to happy ... Mind you I called , it wasn¡¯t a personal visit ... When I get home I plan on visiting the store in hopes for a change of mind on my Jewelers part.... What is it ? I got a decent discount on all my other Rolex... Is it the market right now on the professional series models especially the SS??? I mean the Sea Dweller 4K at list I might understand cause it¡¯s discontinued ...
