You are either gonna love or hate this watch winder - but if you are anything like me, you really like it. This is the Orbita Futura watch winder. There are actually several winders in the Orbita Futura line and this is sort of an interim version which you might not be able to find available. Still it is a good representation into the Futura watch winder line. Let me explain. The current entry level Futura winder is known as the Orbita Futura 1. It does not have the open circuit board and quite as many settings, but preserves the same cylinder on rollers winding style. Hamilton Storm King series.
Hello All,I was wondering if anyone here has info on the Hamilton Storm King watches. I have been told that as many as 10 or 11 versions of this watch were made. Does anyone know when the last Storm King was made? In particular, was the Storm King VII only made in 1961?

I dropped my Spitfire the other day! It stopped working, so I took it to Sam. I just listened to his message and the repair is going to cost $300 - $350. However, this presents an interesting opportunity: I can send it to IWC and while they completely overhaul it I might be able to have them swap the dial for the silver version. It's always been my favorite, and I keep a pic of it in my Photobucket account. I've been trying to find a watch to add to the collection with a silver dial and posted about my silly back & forth waffling a couple times. I have the Heuer coming soon which will fill the black dial slot, so let's see what your opinions are on the subject. Should I fork over the extra cash to send it to IWC and have them fix it and change the dial or leave it black? Naturally we all know it's my choice in the end, but cast a vote anyway and feel free to elaborate why you went with that choice. Omega case, Heuer dial and Lemania movement I'm so confused...
Greetings to the Omega experts...I just came into possession of this Marlboro World Championship racing two register chronograph with unknown manufacturer or any discoverable history. The watch is quite striking and appears to be in unworn overall condition.The more I research this watch the more confused I get. What I think I know thus far is that the watch houses a Lemania 5012 movement which is a derivative of the 5100 without the 24 hour sub dial, has a classic Heuer dial configuration and color and is housed in a case consistent with the very large and bulky Omega stainless steel casesfrom the mid 1970's.What I know for sure is that this two register chronograph is massive in size and weight and commands a very impressive wrist presence (wrist shot attached) and overall high quality look, feel and functionality as it keeps excellent time and the chrono functions work quite well.Lastly, I have researched the relationship between Marlboro Racing (F1) and Swiss watches and Heuer come

Evening RF,I currently have a BLNR in the collection and am wanting to add another Rolex. I'm torn between the hulk, a black sub date, or a mid 2000's 40mm Explorer II. I would love to hear some input from you all. Cheers.
