Panerai PAM 212 H wrist watches news:
I made the trip into the City of Brotherly Love to try one some watches at the local AP AD. It was about a 45 minute trek, but I was excited to try on some Royal Oaks. My buddy that was with me was considering purchasing either a Navitimer B-01, or the Milgauss GV.When we got there, they didn't have all of the watches listed as in-stock on their website, but they did have a 15300 for me to try on. I liked the fit of it, but it was definitely missing a few links - it fit my 6.75 wrist right off the bat. They didn't have any SS 15400s, but I did manage to convince the uninterested sales lady in letting me try on a 15400SR, the new two-tone RO from SIHH 2015. I didn't snag a pic of the 300 on my wrist, but I did get one of the 400 -Overall, I think the 400 is too big for me, as the lugs had some clearance off my wrist. What would I be missing out on if I went with a 15300 over the 15400? Can anyone give me a pros and cons? I think this throws the 15202 into the mix now, and that w
As the title states, I'm considering making this move. I love my Daytona, but I tried on the 15400 this past weekend, and it blew my mind. I'd want the black dial, I personally like it more than the blue or white. Having both is not something I want to do.Making this move would leave me without a Rolex, but I'd probably pick up a Speedmaster as a second watch that is more robust.Since I am very new to the AP brand, I do have some questions for you experts.- I've read lots of comments on the cost of service for a Royal Oak. How much is a service for one, and would it really be more than my Daytona? Also, how long does a service take?- I've read some people say negative things about the accuracy of the time keeping. Is this a legit concern, or just something uninformed people keep repeating?- I'm seeing a lot of white dial used 15400s, but very few black dials. If I wanted AP to switch dials for me, how long would the turnaround be, and what would it cost?- Last question, does my wrist s
I love the simplicity of the 372, but cannot fathom the 47mm size. What's a luminor that's similar to 372, but at 44mm? One with only seconds-dial is fine, too. What are Radiomir watches that are similar?
I’m reading all of these posts regarding waiting lists, lack of availability of stock etc. Is owning a new Rolex that important? I mean it’s just a watch. I’m fine with the rolexes and other watches that I own. I never thought I’d ever own 1 Rolex no less 3 of them. BTW I do believe I’ll be purchasing the new 39mm OP with a black dial. I love the simplicity and size of that model. I think it’s one of the winners of Basil this year.
and I think I picked out a winner I actually had to wait a little more than a week to pick it up as I was out of town. They held it for me. My interest in this watch began late last year or early January, and the hunt was on after that. Stickers are off. I plan to wear this bad boy and will worry about the collectible aspect of it later!! I will post better pictures when I get home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
