I went surfing with my speedway today, knowing that the clasp is likely to pop open when pressure is exerted on the wrong end, and lost the gamble. Caught a wave, clasp caught the rail of my board while standing up and before i knew it, the watch was off my wrist and now lying on the ocean floor Stinks, but also means i'm in the market for a new diver/tide watch If anyone has some suggestions for a new diver or a good looking tide watch around 40-42 mm i'd appreciate it!! I'm eventually getting an omega, so i'm hoping someone can confirm the clasp won't pop on it while surfing or other water activities. Here's an ode to my fallen beater:OH and BTW, if anyone is in spring lake on washington ave and stumbles upon a watch w/ the chrono hand going in sync w/ the small second hand, it might be mine
Hey guys,I'm along time lurker on the rolexforums and I'm looking for a long time to buy an Audemars Diver. Now I'm about to pull the trigger on this Diver tomorrow. As I'm not an expert in Audemars watches, I would be happy if you could tell me if this used Diver is ok. The seller is a professional seller but doesn't know if the watch was already serviced. The watch was originally sold in 2011 but only worn a few times as the seller states.I asked for some detailed pictures. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.Regards, Veit from Germany
When cleaning my watch case, and bracelet... I found a tiny ding on the side of the case... so tiny that I didn't notice that it was there prior to cleaning... just what to lament, sometimes it happens without even knowing where it came from...
