- Gave it as a gift to a friend attending nursing school who needed a watch with a large face, waterof band and a sweep second hand. It was a bonus that its so cool looking. She loves it and is the envy of her classmates.

Patek Philippe 5006-000G wrist watches news:
I've noticed a lot of Speedies on auction and sale sites being stained. As a matter of fact....my 1974/75 Speedy has a stained dial. Is this something to do with the paint? It being a matt dial? Sun? Anyone know?

A new acquisition yesterday. My first AP on bracelet. Its a lovely piece and the dial, in particular, is amazing. Its also surprisingly comfortable to wear. I think I'm lucky in that with three links removed its a good fit when cool, so hopefully on hot days will still be ok - tight, but not too tight. A scarce piece, and I think I'm lucky to have it. Seemingly the second in the UK, and very much recommended.Sorry about the massive pics!
With the 8500 calibre taking off like crazy, what should the new old stock POs, be going for?Looking for 45 on 0range-Orange.
Hello,So the other day I accidentally fell asleep with my Omega on, something I usually don't do, and to my surprise when I woke up I noticed 2 of the roman numerals on the bezel came off. My dad has the same model in SS and I noticed his was missing the top part of I. Does anyone know why this happens? Is there something I can get the black replaced with so it doesn't happen again? I don't see the point in paying a watch maker to fix it if it will just happen again. Thanks for any advice.
