Poll: Luminor or Radiomir
Most folks associate Panerai with the Luminor case, and for good reason. It is highly visible, showcases the signature crown guard and is the Panerai style most worn by athletes and celebrities.When I first discovered the brand I was a Luminor guy through and through but, slowly, things began to change. As I dug into the history of the brand I discovered that the Radiomir case was used for the original Panerai watches in 1936.Enter my PAM190. A 45mm Radiomir housing a JLC movement. I quickly fell in love with the Radiomir and now favor it, by a small margin, over Luminors.Which do you prefer and has you opinion changed over time. I'd love to hear you Panerai story.

NATO Straps Comfort - yes or no
I must be missing something? Maybe it has to be an ideal combination of casebody size, weight, height, strap length, material?I've been trying for several years now to wear a NATO strap throughout a workday on several of my watches. Seiko Monster, Ball Night Train, and today wearing on my friend's Sea Dweller 16600. Each and every time, the canvass material gives off a scratchy feeling. The buckle has to be pulled tight to bear the weight, which cuts my circulation and makes the material even more uncomfortable against my skin. If I wear it a notch loose, then I can¡¯t even swing my arm without it rotating and banging on that wrist bone that pops out.Typing is a strenuous activity and I can feel my veins flare up..I generally have to place it on the desktop several times a day to allow my pulse to calm down. I can only imagine wearing this in hot summer time heat and sweating with it on would be impossible to tolerate as well. So who can explain why this strap is considered "e

Replacement deployment buckle on RG ROO
I've got tiny wrists (6 inches) and the deployment buckle is the only thing that stops me wearing this 24/7... how much would I be looking at to replace it with a pin buckle & strap?

Hi allFirst off thank you so much to all forum members for the advice provided to me in deciding between a 5164 and 5712. My AD notified me a week or so ago that a 5712G was incoming and had my name on it! At this point I was still deciding between that and a 5164. Was leaning towards the 5164 but who could give up an opportunity to see a 5712G in the flesh.Fast forward to yesterday and there was the 5712G right there in front of me... nice piece but I just couldn't do it! The 5164 had me and I told my AD that I'd have to pass and wait for a 5164. He then disappears and low and behold he appears with the 5164! You should have seen the smile on my face!!!Wonderful surprise and of course I pulled the trigger! Lovely piece... so light and comfortable
