- Much nicer than picture shows. Excellent quality and appearance. I've already gotten several compliments. You may have to have a few links taken out. I wear a 7 1/2 bracelet and had to have 3 links taken out. no other complaints.

- Although the appearance is very good and keeps good time, the date circles seem to be solely decorative. I was a bit disappointed, not knowing that before buying it.

Patek Philippe 5170J-001 wrist watches news:
Hi guys!Im going to Miami beach on holiday next week and i have decided to buy a Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean (2201.51.00). I have google'd alot to find any suitable stores where i might find the best price on a BNIB or even a used one. Anyone of you guys out there that know of any watch store to recommend?Im very appreciative to all input!
Hi all,I recently bought a Lord Elgin Cal. 775 from the '50's, and when i popped the back off this circular watch, I was surprised to see a rectangular movement. Is this OK? Or did i get a Frankenwatch? Thanks!
I noticed today that when I manually wound my Navitimer Heritage the seconds hand did not move. I shook it a bit and it started moving however when I pulled the crown out to change the time it stopped moving again. Shook it again and it started moving again. Right away I was a little upset as you can imagine. While it is working, I shake it again and it stopped working. I wore it for the day and noticed that by the end of the day it was off by 25 minutes. I only wear this watch about once a month and havent worn it since the 23rd of February. Is it time for my watch to get its 3 year service? Does anyone know if a servicing will fix this since it looks like they take the watch totally apart? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Im thinking that a maintenance service might fix this since. Here is a quick video of the work involved during the maintenance service. Again, since they take the watch apart Im hoping this might fix the problem.breitling/service/index1.php
My wife gave me this 17 years ago....I wish she would have got an auto but she didn't know what an auto was back then.I still like it just the same sorry for the cell phone pic
I just recently acquired a Speedmaster Broad Arrow with I believe the 3303 movement. It keeps more accurate time than my Sub Date and the power reserve seems ok. The thing is, if you hold it to your ear and shake it gently you can hear something spinning and buzzing around inside the watch, and can actually feel a mild vibration through your finger tips. When you manually wind the watch you don't get that smooth ratcheting feeling you get with a Rolex. Is this normal?
