NEWS COSC announces record figures for 2007 August 05, 2008 The Contr?le Officiel Suisse des Chronom¨¨tres (The Official Swiss Control Office for Chronometres) has announced record figures for 2007. The number of certificates registered in 2007 was up 13.3 per cent from 2006 with a total number of 1,538,676 registrations.The top three companies applying for registration at COSC were Rolex with 728,255 certificates, Omega with 341,161 and Breitling with 222,650. This important growth, and the accumulation that followed, has resulted in almost full capacity for the COSC in some areas, which will mean adjustments and investment. The number of movements equipped with additional modules has also meant that changes in the control process have been necessary. These changes have been incorporated by the technical services of the COSC with success. About the COSC Founded in 1973 in its current structure, the COSC is a non-profit association. Rolex Spotting
We were on a short flight from Panama City, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia yesterday.In our section of the plane, of about 6 rows, I spotted 1 yellow gold men's DayDate, 1 ladies stainless DateJust, 1 Daytona, 1 ladies yellow gold DayDate (my wife's), and my BLNR.I don't think I've ever seen that many Rolex outside an AD before.

Hi everybody,Warm regards from Indonesia.Just picked up the two toned white dial SkyD and need to confirm a couple of things, hope the users here can help.1. Is the total link 12 (not including the half link)?2. Is the manual winding function only applicable if we put the rotating bezel in position 3? When the watch died, i try to manual wind at the position 0, 1, and 2 but nothing happened at all, but when i tried on position 3, the manual winding worked.Thanks before and have a blessed day all!
