Patek Philippe 5000G wrist watches news:
There are James Bond watches and there are James Bond watches, the ones you are about to see are the latter. On February 18th, Christie's London is auctioning off 25 pieces of James Bond memorabilia from the set of the most recent James Bond movie Spectre. The Seamaster 300 Spectre limited edition was an awesome watch, but now you have the chance to own the exact one worn by Daniel Craig on the set! Or, if you remember, the one according to Q that "Tells the time. But do be careful with the alarm, it's rather loud." For full disclosure, certain functions might not be included in this one, but I won’t go further to avoid spoilers. 1 OF 9 SPECTRE. All Rights Reserved To Danjaq, MGM, CPII. You could also choose another Seamaster 300 worn by the elusive Mr. White, or a vintage rose-gold Longines worn by James Bond’s boss, M. Or even a Rado worn by the frightening master assassin Mr. Hix. And I almost forgot to disclose the highlight of the sa
It was between this watch & a brown w/ brown strap professional. Price was the ultimate decider. I have no complaints.
Hi! It's been a while since I last posted on this forum. On December 13th 2008 I purchased my first "real" watch (coming from a Guess Collection). It was my 20th birthday and I decided to give myself the watch I had been saving for a couple of months, which is the IWC 3717-01 (my dream watch). A friend of mine also got this watch a couple of days ago and since photographing is a hobby of his we decided to have a little fotoshoot of our fliegers. The one with the black croco strap is mine and the one with the St. Exupery strap is his. Here are the results of the little photo session:I hope you like them! (I know I do!!)
Hey guys ! ! !My L&R Mastermatic that is probably 50+ years old finally died about a week ago.So, I was without a cleaning machine for about one week.I had the old L&R Mastermatic for about 4 years and it served me well but it was time for a MASSIVE UPGRADE ! ! ! ! ! I considered a Tempo 400, Mark V and the L&R Vari-Matic but all of these machines are also as old as the hills too.You can buy a reconditioned model but they will still cost in upwards of $2,000.00 with only a 90 day warranty.I thought about it for a couple of days and I decided to go long and invest in my future with a brand new machine still in the box. There were a couple of good ones to choose from but in the end I went with the German made ELMA RM90 (vibrating & rotating).Elma recently stopped manufacturing the RM90 (they came out with a new model) but Borel had one RM90 left on the shelf so I pulled the trigger. It arrived today! The new machine is fully automated and I can do up to 6 movements at one ti
For some reason, my wife and I like to watch The Biggest Loser - usually while eating snacks. Well, if you have seen it, they have a trainer - Bob Harper - who apparently is a WIS. I've seen some mighty watches on this guy.Last time I checked, he was wearing a $40,000 AP ROO. (Of course, it might be the $80,000 version!) I'm watching right now and he has some huge gold thing on his arm. It could be the same watch or maybe something new. If you watch the show, let us know what it is. (It's not the same watch as in the above photo.)
