Got it last Friday! I love it! Will post more pictures soon!
Pretty sure you can imagine what happens when you suddenly get crazy and buy a lot of watches without a lot of thinking and that's what happened with me. After reading bit on how to buy on Ebay I went and bid on 8 watches and won 6 of them. Now I am not so sure if all of them were good buys.I need your help in knowing which of these are a good buy and which ones lost me money. btw, Since I am starting, I do not have much preference for any type of watch . I would however say I like dress watches and prefer quartz movements. So Here is the list.1. I've been doing lots of reading and drooling here, but this is my first post. Let me introduce myself. Some of you may know me from other Forums. I'm an addict for 12 years. I can't control myself. I can't go out in public without leering at people's wrists. I make snap judgements about strangers on the street or in meetings based on nothing more than their wrist candy. I live watches, I dream watches and if you happen to get me in a conversation about watches, it may go on for weeks.OK, so I'm just like you!At last count, about 300 watches have past through my door in those 12 years. Some have stayed for a long time, some are gone in a day. I can't seem to get my heart (nor my head) into Rolexes or Pateks. I appreciate (and even, own) lots of vintage pieces, but my heart (and my wrist) loves big contemporary watches Panerai, IWC, Roger Dubuis, Blancpain, Jaquet Droz and Alain Silberstein. My bookshelves are lined with books, catalogues and ephemera. The shelves of my clos
Probably a dumb question, but always interested in forum opinions. Have an offshore black themes model that i've always liked but it's a bit oversized for my wrist. A mistake I made was that I had a breitling recently serviced, and started looking at pateks that were in the shop. Now I am having a hard time shaking the thought of trading the offshore plus a seadweller f-serial I have towards an Aquanaut. I know many state just saving and adding to the collection, but I prefer to keep the stable to only a few watches.
Hi guys,After months of research and deciding on the model, I have finally received my 16710 Gmt Master ii Pepsi in the mail. While I haven't posted before, I have learned quite a bit from reading the posts of experienced members. Just wanted to say thanks and the watch looks even better in person! - Troy
