Changing from Leather to Bracelet in Summer...
I've just changed my Speedmasters leather strap back its its bracelet because its now getting very very hot here in Western Australia. I dont want my $200 strap getting damaged by sweat as the sun does come out to play hot over here at this time of year.Just wondering, does anyone else do something similar?PS, I don't really sweat much as 85% of my day is sitting behind an desk in an air-conditioned government office, but I felt like a change anyways and on weekends I do go outdoors.

PO bezel change?
Lets say you have PO in Orange and also have the black bezel for the PO.What would be the cost of having them swapped (I know you need a press) in a ballpark figure?How much- if any- damage is done if you do this say once a year to your watch?I ask because my friend is buy a new PO with the orange bezel and I've been telling him black, because I think he'll tire of orange quicker than he thinks, plus he really like my 2254...so he's got the watch and new bezel lined, up but he's afraid swapping, say once a year, will somehow ruin the watch and bezels.I told him no, but he insisted I ask you folks...I also told him it shouldn't cost much to have done each time he switched out.

Precista PRS-5. chronographe ¨¤ remontage manuel bas¨¦ sur un mouvement Chinois Seagull ST-19 Eddie Platts the owner of timefactors.com made this hommage of the British Army dotation mechanical chronograph. This one is part of the second serial, the first one was made under the broadarrow label with a Poljot 3133 movement.Since Eddie can no more use the Broadarrow label so he use his own label Precista. The ST-19 is a column wheel chronograph movement its origin comes from the Swiss Venus 175, it's more or less the Chinese counterpart of the Russian Poljot 3133. The PRS-5 case has a 41mm diameter with a 31mm visible dial. Thereby the watch is not huge and easy to wear. The watch is discret, has a simple and efficient look due to its military heritage. One if the joys of Pam ownership is buying straps for them. So the next logical step for me was to make my own straps.I am pretty happy as I just finished making 2 new straps for my 027 and 359 with the 3rd one in brown in the pipeline.Not up to the standard of bought ones but I am happy enough. Sent by Taptalk from my phone which rather annoyingly and randomly rotates my pictures the wrong way around whenever it takes a fancy. I am sure the damn things got a mind of its own. :-(
