Longines L47743227 wrist watches news:
Is there a st or other movement similar to the 8n24 I have a bulova with an open heart dial and would like to replace it having a bear trying to find one that will fit the dimension size of the 8n24 so as to fit the case of watch
I have a watch my kid gave me a Stuhrling Original with the above movement. It¡¯s a skeleton movement put out by PTS Resources. I guess Stuhrling and invicta and a host of others use this supplier. Here is the problem as you get old the vision starts to go lol. The hands have lume on the tips but rest of the hands are hollow, no lume. As you look at the hands, at least for me it makes it difficult against the skeleton movement. So I searched the net and negative results. The hands areHour hand :1.53Minute hand : .89I have a few plans:Plan A: Remove hands and fill in with lume, which I have.Plan B: hope someone here knows where I can get hands that will fit.Plan C: Buy hands with dimensions that are close and cross my fingersPlan C-1: buy hands with dimensions that are close make them fit and cross my fingersPlan D: Wear the watch on sunny days and also wear my good glasses then switch to my Seiko diver when it gets dark lolAny assistance is appreciated
Hi,I'm seriously interested in purchasing the Navitimer 01 Limited Edition in SS. I'm in Canada so I would like to find an trusted AD that can ship to my New York address for pickup. With the current exchange rate it doesn't make sense to pay inflated Canadian prices.Thank you.
...i said thats a beautiful Ap you have there, he noticed my ap diver and said i like yours too, you have exceptional taste. He was here on vacation and bought it on this trip while in Paris. It was gorgeous! Just ooozed class....also great to have a conversation with a fellow Ap fan.
Had a random thought today to periodically start posting a VERSUS picture to compare two watches (and only those two watches) and discuss pros/cons by outlining the differences and getting folks' ideas/thoughts/opinions here. We got folks here who are experts that have been collecting and studying these things for decades to those who are just starting to venture into the crazy world of Rolex (and everyone in between). So I think it would be fun and educational! So to kick it off, I have for everyone today the iconic Submariner in the 'with date' variety. Reference 16610 v. 1680.Some obvious things:Glossy dial v. matteLuminova v. tritiumNon-maxi markers v. maxiWhich do you prefer and why?
