Hello Scott,There are still many D series Rolexes out there and as for the clear sticker....Yes i personally saw a D series SS/18kt White gold Turnograph with a clear sticker on back three days ago. Bear in mind that Rolex does vary the back sticker arrangement every now and then. Both my "M" series GMT IIc and my M series TT Sub have clear sticker on back with a little green offset on the edge and no model# printed nor the red line across, the again I saw Z series with clear sticker model number and no green offset nor red line. Crazy Huh!!ED
Buying a replacement Oyster style stainless watch band for my Submariner...To be as close to the original in weight as possible I'm guessing I need to buy one with the hollow links?
Finally can buy straps directly! Will open soon!
I got a lot of wind up watches. But no two seem to require the same amount of winding from unwound to fully wound. My IWC neeeds the least winding. My Rolex needs more and my Omega even more. But the one watch that seems to take endkless wind up turns is my Wakmann Chronograph. I guess there is no standard for spring length in the watch industry. Any ideas about that?Art KramerWW II Bombardier
