Dump Daytona for Navy???
Hey guys, I'm strongly considering selling my 116509 (Met dial) and picking up a Navy Themes.Daytona Cons: I don't wear the Daytona very much, I miss the date function, the screw down pushers are inconvienent for spur of the moment timing and I feel it's a little small on me.it's beautiful and I've always wanted it, but I just don't wear it very much. I've also always loved the Navy... It's a lil larger, has date function, non screw down pushers, that beautiful horn back strap and plus its an AP.Any thoughts???

Afternoon All,Merry Xmas!!! I'm looking at buying a 5711 White Dial (to complement my growing collection) but cannot find one to try on to finalise my decision... the AD's in Houston do not have one in stock. Is there anyone in the Houston/Galveston Area that you could recommend to view and buy through? Is there anyone in the area that has one that I could maybe meet up with for coffee on a Sunday? Calatrava rescued from the safe + strap question
This Patek 5196R has been in the safe for a long time but finally made it out into the light of day today. Thought I'd snap a couple pics before putting it back in the dungeon. Don't hear too much about Calatravas around here. This one is about 5 years old & has the silver dial, but I understand that they recently switched to a white dial.I used to wear my Patek all the time, now thanks to all the enablers on TRF I'm hooked on steel sports watches. Perhaps the white 5711 one day...Anyway, I'm on a strap kick thanks to my fellow Paneristi & am now thinking about a new strap for this one. Anybody have any suggestions? Would I pretty much want to stick with the Patek OEM straps or might there be some other good options? Is there another color or material strap that might look good with rose gold?Thanks!
