- I love this watch. Its very stylish and I get a lot of compliments. Its perfect for what I wanted - something that's fancy enough to dress up and looks good with casual clothes too. Its not too heavy but I like the feeling of wearing the watch.

17 jewel, 980 movement, near mint gold filled case back, and two tone dial circa 1948.The dial sure looks great on this almost looks like it has been re-done.Pic/copy not mine
Hi,In a recent question I posed on the 15300 vs 15400 someone replied that the 15300 is fine for the black dial and blue, but the silver/white of the 15400 is more beautiful and dynamic than the more flat white 15300.I'm intrigued by this. At first sight the silver/white indeed looks rather flat (a bit like the 'real' white on the ROO's), but on the other hand it would strike me as odd that AP decided to use a different silver/white on the 15400 than on the 15300. And what about the 15202 by the way (not the anniversary version of course but the previous one)?So is there really a difference between these Silver/white dials on these RO ST top models???Thanks!
Nubuck Gator. Coming from Panerai, have always loved the look. Figure I try it out for the Omega. What do you guys think?
Hey All,I need some advice on what to offer(trying not to pay full retail) on a NOS Omega Seamaster-300M-wavy dial-.....co-axil.Let me set the story:Yesterday my wife and I went shopping and we went into a jewelry store just to look. My wife bought me a new Rolex GMT-II Black and Blue, so I wasn't in any hurry for another watch....yet.I came across the store's Omega display and in the 300-M/Diver section of their Omega display they had the newer Diver's in one area and three NOS Omega 300-M in the lower section.1. A women's quartz blue-wavy dial...I didn't ask about it.2. A Men's 300-M (I think black dial) wavy dial chronograph...(co-axil?) $4900 for the chronograph3. A men's 300-M black wavy dial, co-axil...(the lady told me co-axil but not master co-axil).........$3900.All brand new. As a matter of fact I know these three watches have been setting there since June-2014. June-2014, was the last time I was in that particular store and they were in there then.I know Omega qui
Hello all! Sorry if someone has already caught this and posted about it......Last night I took my son to see the new Liam Neeson movie, Non-Stop. Overall, it was a pretty decent movie and worth watching - if you enjoy those types of action flicks. Nevertheless, in one scene the pilot of the plane needed to check his watch for the time. As he turned his wrist, you could clearly see that it was a complicated Patek Philippe of some sort. Unfortunately it was only visible for about a second, but it was exciting to see a PP up on the big screen! And boy did it look good! This got me wondering if Patek is loosening up the purse strings a bit and paying for product placement opportunities more than they used to? Regardless, the sighting turned the movie from good to great in my book!
