Patek Philippe 3700 wrist watches news:
The owner of this watch named it The Vladimir. He was able to call it whatever he liked because he custom commissioned it from Vacheron Constantin. The brand is among the few that will entertain clients who not only want custom watches, but also custom watch movements. This is part of their highly exclusive "Atelier Cabinotiers" department. Do you know what it takes to design, prototype, perfect, manufacture, finish, and test a watch movement? Usually those costs are built into some type of economy of scale. Now think of all that for just one movement. We are talking incredible prices due to all the time and effort involved. Million bucks minimum. Luckily this client didn't need to go through all of that, but Vacheron Constantin would have done it for the right price.Call me crazy but I am guessing that the buyer of the Vladimir watch is Russian or Chinese. Clearly interested in astronomical complications, he wanted Vacheron Constantin to design and build him one of the most complex wa
Hello WTF'ers, I'm new here and I'm trying to find a watch but I don't know if the criteria I'm setting can be found in one piece or not.-Atomic & Solar-Tritium Markers-Analog movement-Maratac Zulu-type band (doesn't necessarily HAVE to be Maratac, just something other than leather, rubber, or metal)-Plain in appearance (not looking for something obtuse like a G-Shock, and don't want markings on bezel like Luminox and others)-Chronograph is a plus, but not necessary-That's about it, any suggestions? Thanks. The watch I currently wear is a Citizen E100 seen here and I love it for the most part, but it lacks the Atomic syncing, and the glow components fade very quickly. I'd like to be able to pick it up in middle of night and be legible.
Hello all, looking for any reccomendations from the group for a good watch with a 24 hour hand for a second time zone. Currently I'm thinking about a Citizen Nighthawk. I also like the style of the rolex GMT Master but that is a bit out of my price range. What else is out there?
Hello Guys I am currently thinking about trading my Rolex DBLUE james Cameron for an AP 15400 black new, good or bad trade according to you ? Laurent
