- Hot watch - Received this watch as a gift and it's an eye-catcher! So stylish, I receive many compliments on it. Nice leather band, which isn't too thick (like other HL styles) which is very comfortable. Very nice timepiece.

Oris Oris 36274 wrist watches news:
I have just noticed what looks like a hairline scratch on the glass of my SMP 2254.50. The watch is not even one year old and I have been wearing it under "normal" conditions. The scratch itself is difficult to see (and hence impossible to photograph with my average camera and skills) but under strong light you can just make it out. However, it really bothers me that what should be scratchproof has picked up a minor scratch and I haven't even subjected the watch to any extremes. I'm not sure if Omega will see this as a problem or be interested in trying to correct it. Perhaps I'm being over-sensitive to something that should be accepted as normal wear and tear.Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any recommendations?
So last night I were browsing the net, minding my own business, when I stumbled upon a local (South Africa) listing for Invicta watches. I looked through the sellers lists and found this brilliant buy. It's a Seiko SNDA27P1 "Desert Storm" Military watch - and when I saw it, I just had to have it. I don't know what it is about this watch - but I just love it! I like the way of how it reminds me somewhat of the dials in an aeroplane's cockpit, the 'butch' I can do anything look - amazing! Anyways, I contacted the seller - paid for it and this morning went to go pick it up - half and hours drive from me...Some photos:
I was hoping the members could help me out. I am considering a new watch purchase. Under 4K - New or used. I already have a Breitling (Bently 6.75), Rolex (GMT II & DJ), Omega (Seamaster), Chronoswiss (Lunar Triple), Panerai (PAM 111). Everything is in SS. My thoughts were Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Zenith, Bell. Anyone have any other thoughts. Links would be appreciated. Are there any up and coming brands that are well built and possess a good value? I was leaning towards a rectangular face since everything I have is round.
Every once in a while we do this thread: Who matches their watch to their belt & shoes? Since we have a few new members, it's time for another one. I'll start - I just picked up this pair of Cole Haan Donatello Buckle II's that match this combo pretty well:It paid to give the store my e-mail address - they sent me a coupon for 40% off. The best part? It could be used on clearance items also! So what do you do with 40% off ON TOP of a half price clearance sale? Duh! You buy another pair, silly. The Omega has a fresh NOS 60's OEM strap bought from Times of Plenty:Okay, let's see'm - who matches?
Liked the blue of the YM but felt like the case would irritate my skin like my old ym, otherwise really liked the ym ii. The explorer ii for some reason felt better on my skin even with my 904l allergy, I may be a buyer.
