Patek Philippe 3800 wrist watches news:
Prices of watches have been increasing steadily over the past decade, but how do they compare to, say, three or even six decades ago? Just how have they really changed? And is it really because it is due to the rising costs of materials and inflation alone? We take a closer look at historical prices of two of the most popular sports watches around today - the Submariner and Daytona from Rolex. That aside, we also investigate the recent matter regarding Bremont's new Wright Flyer watch and its supposedly in-house made BWC/01 movement. Just how "in-house" is it and what is the real story behind the whole incident? We also pay a visit to Nicholas Manousos, who successfully made a working tourbillon using a customized 3D printer. Finally, we chat with the great Walter Lange as he celebrates his 90th birthday to find out more about the beginnings and the future of one of the greatest institutions in German watchmaking, A. Lange & S?hne.1. How And Why Rolex Prices Have Increased Over TimeR
The German dive watch company NauticFish is an offshoot of the larger Schaumburg/Lindburgh & Benson watch group. A few years ago, the brand was set up as vehicle for more aggressive German watches that complimented, but did not necessarily compete with the popular Schaumburg line of diving watches. The first NauticFish watches were actually little more than rebranded Scahumburg watches with minor changes. Currently, NauticFish watches have their own special character, but that did not occur over night. Over the last few years, little design changes resulted in the current product, of which many are nice hybrid designs between the appealing look of Schaumburg dive watches and the NauticFish style. The first changes appeared on the face with the hand and number indicators, then the bezel treatment, and other items changed as well. This particular watch represents a halfway point from what NauticFish used to be, and what it is today. Notice the same bezel as on Schaumburg watches, but w
OK, I lied Courtesy of member Brad this just arrived. Bigger then I thought it would be, I guess I never read the specs, it really brings out the styling. I gave it a quick wash/clean and hand polish. Parker B.
