Atlanta GTG / 19 Mar 11 - Mini Report
Big thanks goes to ScottD & gaopa for setting up this little Atlanta GTG. I live south of Atlanta and the GTG was on the north side. I left about an hour before it started which gave me a 15 minute buffer for a 45 minute trip.Well, hello traffic jam and the cause for the 10 mph for the last 10 miles:5 miles later, the southbound lanes were STILL in a messFinally getting up some steam and space between vehiclesWe have those electronic traffic warning signs and this one basically said "You're hosed if you go this way", so I had to go another routeLooked down at my watch and see that I'm.....late. So much for my 15 minute buffer.Keeping up with the trafficI finally get to the restaurant and ended meeting ScottD in the parking lot as he was walking in, too.Here's the the GTG location and it's alot bigger than what it looks like from the outside. The Explorer II 16570-3186 Is it considered rare?
I've been offered a white explorer II 16570 with a 3186 movt and the jeweler explained to me that it is a special watch coz it was produced in limited numbers and it have the engraved bezel. I declined the offer coz I'm not a big fan of the Exp-II. After getting back home and reading about it, i started thinking that I might buy it as an investment if it's gonna be considered rare in a few years. What do you guys know about this specific model? Icould it be a good catch?

Platona Ice Blue Dial with brown subdials
Was at Vegas. Tried on both Platona at vegas bellagio and Caesar��s. There is a 7.5k premium for the diamond dial.I was wondering if anyone knew the price of a replacement ice blue non diamond dial to avoid having to purchase both models! I��d only purchase the diamond dial but would love the Brown subdials version to occasionally swap out.
