Breitling A1336410/G569 wrist watches news:
A few days before Christmas 2014, watches-dealer invited a group of Los Angeles watch lovers to visit the Beverly Center Omega watch boutique and then to Jackmond, a special store in Los Angeles started by Jack Khorsandi and dedicated to displaying, servicing, collecting, buying, and selling vintage Omega timepieces. Then, after some deep watch appreciation, whiskey (thanks to Jack), and lots of conversation, we headed nearby for a private dinner. One of the most interesting things we saw at the Omega boutique was an early presentation of their new "antimagnetic test." With the debut and increasing proliferation of Master Co-Axial with its anti-magnetic movement, Omega realizes that many of its customers aren't quite sure why magnetism is so harmful to mechanical watch movements, and just how easily even the smallest magnets can effect a mechanical watch movement. The test showed how small, common everyday magnets could not only stop a traditional watch, but permanently (and dramaticall
I have the impression tatt Patek use rhodium plateing on some of their WG moddels, but not on all? How abort the 5712G?ReagardsB?rd M.
I wearing my Square with the odd dial. It's going to need service before I wear it again. The movement is starting to feel a little funky when winding and it will only run about 5 hours.
I'd like to get some opinions on what you guys think makes a great collection. Should it be high end pieces only, can it have moderates or even some much cheaper watches. I have a collection that I'm proud of and it's still growing. It contains pieces that don't retail over $1k and I've seen some collections that don't have a single piece under $1k. My personal taste is to agree with statements made by 2 other members."Buy what you like but like what you buy", -[kevinc1001]"Better something cheaper and Authentic......"-[Alvin]I say collect the pieces that you feel good..not what makes other people feel good. Let's hear what you guys think.
Has anyone here made any modifications or customisations to a 5711? I have been considering changing mine up but looking to see examples from those who have done this before me.Not sure what customisation to make yet but may have DLC coating added to the piece. Have seen this before on an Aquanaut and looks good, I think the entire bracelet in DLC would look pretty nice.
