- Beautiful watch very masculine. Just large enough to look good. I bought this watch for my husband's birthday he is 6' 4' and a guy and this watch looks just right on him. Looks good casual or for more dressy occasions.

Hi, I would not be put off by the size. I am a big guy 6ft 3 and 270 lbs and i feel fine with the look and size of mine
I have started looking for my next watch purchase; which led me to think what would happen to my watches when I was gone or ready to pass them on and how that would influence my purchase. The obvious answer is to buy what you like and enjoy. This is true and definitely part of my decision making process. I like the idea of my daughter (only child and currently only 6ys old) eventually getting and enjoying my watches. Basically I am looking for watch suggestions that are as appealing being worn on a man as on a woman.
Before I start I would like to introduce myself to this great forum. I have posed before though without introduction. I am from Australia, my avatar is a Waratah, the NSW state emblem. Now my question. I have a blue sunburst dial 116000 OP. For me it is a great every day watch. It is perfect to me in all respects except for one fatal flaw! I must qualify that my age is part of the problem, I need glasses to read. Now I feel that modifying a rolex is bad form, though I feel that the modification is not permanent, so for my own benefit some Mercedes hand would make it legible.I nearly bought some Datejust hands from eBay as these are slightly thicker and it would seem the new double baton OP's carry these hands. Too slow, now they are sold.I have noticed a couple of people have put 14270 hands on the watch, a blue faced explorer is th
I have seen his named mentioned but cant seem to find it. Who is the guy who redoes bracelets? Does he do Rolex accurate polishing? Thanks!
