Patek Philippe 4910/10A-012 wrist watches news:
I was trying to make a decent watch picture with my Nokia cellphone...Came out pretty well IMHO..
A watch I acquired via my grandmother that I'd like to have to wear as a dress watch.Problem: where or how do I go about getting the work done and what would it cost in ballpark figures? It winds, but won't unwind...if I carefully push this thing then the spring will unwind but the hands never turn. Anyhow...it obviously need a lot of work...and a strap. Is it worth it?You tell me.It would be nice if it was done locally, but I have no idea where to go, other than my mothers jeweler who makes custom jewelery and he told me he has a guy that helps him out on vintage restorations. Thanks
I am looking for a watch similar to a Stowa Flieger, but under $300 preferably.I love the simple and classic look of the stowa airman watches, but unfortunately i cannot afford one at the moment (or anytime in the near future) and would like some recommendations of similar looking watches. Any advise is appreciated,Thanks
I am in the market for a nice watch for a budget of 15~17k (Canadian) which would be around 12-14k USD, which sucks because few months ago it wasn't so different.Anyways, I found out about Royal Oaks and fell in love with them, there are two ppl in Toronto selling them on a classified site. Not sure which one to buy, can you help?I was hoping to buy 44mm model, but i think both are 42mm.both look very hot, and i am going to take them to authorized dealer for authentication (its possible right?)1. .kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true$14k USD2. .kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true$14.8k USDplease advise me!thank you
Just a recap several weeks back i was offered a real nice Patek 5960 but to step up to the plate the Daytona had to go but with sellers remorse setting in before i'd given sold it, deep breath and let it go, but you now how it is once your're in new watch mode its only time!, so attempting sensibility my thoughts ran KEEP! the WG Daytona i honestly don't think you'd get a more unique dial and i love the fraction formations on mine and the smaller onyx 3-6-9 indices more in line with the other subtle markings rather than on the newer premium dials with the larger SQUARE markers IMHO. so i'm now looking at something in SS [and cheap being a relative term] as a daily wearer yes rolex make many with a few nice ones to come, maybe i'll regret it but at this time rolex leaves me sort of ho-hum! bored nor excited!, so to the forefront rose AP and Patek i'd all but picked up a RO 15300 when a offshore was offered by a unsolicitated PM after making enquiring post on AP in general on the forums,
