Off the Bay I just bought (for bus fare) a very cute "cocktail watch" (I'm a lady, by the way - more interested in wearing and enjoying than displaying and flipping - a blind pig not necessarily expecting a truffle EVERY time) Labeled "Marlowe 21 Jewels" The little fellow is quite an eager beaver, picking up an extra fifteen minutes or so most hours. Moreso when being worn, curiously. I intended to take it in for a clean and oil anyway, so while I'm at it I plan to find out what's up with it. My search for "Marlowe" has turned up nothing but Phillip and Christopher, so before being berated by the watchmaker I thought I'd come to the authorities and see if it's an offshoot or a second line from something anybody knows about.

NEED HELP! Ideas for fathers 70th BIRTHDAY!
Hey everyone,I'm looking for some help here. My fathers 70th birthday is coming up and I'm looking for a good "big" present idea. I'd always kind of expected to get him an 18k watch since he always wears gold tones watches, but he's extremely happy with the Tissot gold PVD I bought him a few years ago, and if I really think about it he's not an "18k guy". If he knew how much an 18k was worth, even a modest one like a Longines, he wouldn't wear it. So I'm looking for some other ideas. He's pretty simple in taste. The Tissot is the only piece of jewelery he'll wear. Though he's been married for almost 50 years he doesn't even wear a wedding band. Bracelets, rings, chains - they're all out. It's a pain trying to get him just a regular Bday present since he doesn't 'need', or even want anything usually. I usually end up going the gift card route. While I did that for his actual day tomorrow, I want something a bit more meaningful for the actual celebration. He still works (thoug

I used to have a 16610LV but I let it go.
