How nice it would be to have a larger availability of Temption watches. With just two authorized dealers in the entire US, you aren't likely going to see Temption watches very often, which is a shame considering how beautiful these watches are. I have a Temption CGK203 Watch which I reviewed here. The results were stellar, which is expected from the boutique German watch makers who only manufactures 700 watches a year. No wonder they are so hard to get.Temption has an interesting philosophy behind watch design which although resembling Scandinavian minimalism, actually has more to do with German Bauhaus design. The idea is functional art to the extent that the main purpose of the design is function and utility. Having said that, the design must conform with various rules such as attractive symmetry and fluid form. How did they do the naming of their models in Lancaster?
OK, we know that some were named after famous explorers. So we have one that is named after, well not Amundsen but the one who missed the golden goal. Others like the Byrd, Livingston or Andrews, Stanley,...And at least one of the electrics was named after an employee. But what's the thing behind all the other strange names? Are they totally random chosen or is something known in old archives and the like how they decided that this watch gets the name "Ryan" and that one "Ross". Was it maybe even the privilege of the best employee of the month to get his/her name chosen for a model or is it just that some designer thought, hey this looks like, uhm, an Endicott. What do you think?

Hello all,I am new to this forum but also hopefully soon to AP!I am about to buy my first piece and was hesitating between the 15400 or a 15710.I have a little preference for a 15400 as of now, but was wondering which one is the most versatile?Also, what are the typical discount I can hope for these watches?rgds
