Philip Stein 21FMOPZFGR wrist watches news:
More than eleven years ago, after Bill Gates personally introduced Microsoft smartwatches at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, I wrote a column in WatchTime entitled ¡°Honk If You Want a Computer On Your Wrist!¡± The column asked the following simple question: ¡°Does anyone really want this contraption?¡±My answer in the column, admittedly inelegantly stated, was ¡°Whaddya, stupid? Of course not!¡±Forgive the immodesty, but I was right. Microsoft smartwatches, produced in conjunction with Citizen, Fossil, Suunto and Swatch, were all total flops. Since then, despite the arrival of various and sundry smartwatches (Pebble, i¡¯m Watch, Martian, Galaxy Gear and more), very few people have shown any sign that they want a computer on the wrist. We are now arrived at what is surely the moment of truth for smartwatches. On Sept. 9 of last year, mighty Apple unveiled the Apple Watch, described by the New York Times as ¡°a miniature computer strapped around the wrist.¡± Finally, once and for all,
Swiss watch maker Hublot recently started a blog called Hublot Nation - allowing it to connect more directly with its customers, fans, and the general public. The "Hublog" as I call it will be a place to share information, events, and experiences direct from the source. Hublot always has a lot going on and I hope that the new venue will allow it to offer some juicy tidbits straight from the top to you. It is challenge to consistently offer good content. Blogging isn't easy, and aside from continually offering new content, the entire Hublot team needs to be part of the process, contributing useful, quality information all the time. So check out the Hublot Nation blog at hublotnationwatches-dealer - I hope we get a weekly update from Mr. Biver himself.

hi gang,a couple of pics of my ss daytona bracelet on my gmt. i recently brushed the polished center links to a matte finish and i love it even more. the daytona bracelet might look like a regular oyster bracelet but due to it's weight and superior construction of the clasp is an absolute luxury.i used a green and yellow scotchbrite sponge. you have to use the green and yellow one. use the coarse green side and brush the bracelet with mild pressure in one direction with the the bracelet flat on a surface. a couple of passes and it gives the perfect texture.it took me about ten seconds to do this.best,cl
I was in NY this week for work and stopped in the AP boutique. I had actually wanted to see the two-tone rose gold/steel in person, but came away loving the blue dial iteration. Would I be right to assume that it's not really possible to swing any kind of discounts from the boutiques? I've got a local AD that says he can get me 25-30% off a black dial so I'm hoping someone will tell me that I'm wrong ;).
