Philip Stein 4FMOPGPE wrist watches news:
I've about quit wearing the beaters, although they have their place and I suredon't diss them, I'll wear one in the yard working but thats about it. I gotan image to uphold and life is too short to wear a cheap watch. So there.Bash me if you want to, fire away. I'd welcome a little of that.jim
Hi.It's been scaringly quiet on this forum lately. Is it the economic downturns that make people bussy elsewere or are Pateks just too expensive at these times?
I think this brand is worthy of the American forum being a U.S. based company and 2 of their 3 current offerings being hand built here in the U.S. The caseback on the Gennaker & Spinnaker pay tribute to Pearl Harbor, very nice indeed!Check out the St?l?s Watch Co. website for details.: There is also a 'FREE FACEBOOK GIVEAWAY'!!Details below:If you are on Facebook make sure to click "Like" for a chance to win a FREE Spinnaker. If you already have one...then you can choose the Gennaker!!!
Finally and after many time, I was able to find one of my most wanted watchesIt's the Bulova Accutron Astronaut Limited Edition, GMT, AutomaticHere are some web pictures of ithope to have it in my claws until the end of the monthThanks for all the help in finding it
One of my grails is the All White Gold GMT II. I am dreaming of course, donĄŻt have the cash for any AG model, but itĄŻs my fantassy so what the heck. My first Rolex ever was a 1986 Fat Lady Coke GMT II. I have nothing against the Pepsi, but just really liked the contrast of the Black/Red over the Blue/red. The AWG Pepsi is a beautiful watch, and if I could I would buy one, but if Rolex can do a Blue and Red bezel, why not a Black and red? A color is a color, so technically, I canĄŻt believe there is any reason, and this is a marketing choice. My question is: (again) Why? Is the Pepsi that much more popular that in the AG model they donĄŻt have to even produce one? I certainly wouldnĄŻt think so. Basel 2018 prediction: All White Gold Coke GMT II
