Anyone playing with the bracketing in the cameras and combining them to get HDR? The result is an image that looks more like reality...closer to what you can see with your eyes or you can play with extreme contrast. Here are some samples...
I purchased my Rolex in the Cayman Islands in June of 2005. Just after Hurricane Katrina struck my home region, some scoundrel broke into my home and stole my RolexJUST 3 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT IT!! Making that final payment was like a knife twisting inside of me, but I have kept the faith all these years that I will get my watch returned to me, it's rightful owner. I also warn EVERYONE to NEVER purchase a second-hand Rolex without the original box and certificate of authenticity since there are crooks out there who feel it necessary to rob innocent people instead of working for what they get.Info on my watch:Ladies Datejust with Oyster perpetual motion.Stainless SteelAftermarket Diamond BezelSerial number F451825On my certificate, it also reads:Chronometre 767 F451825The box is waiting for my watch to returnI worked hard for it and look forward to having it back.
On December 30th, I received my Railmaster from fellow TRF member, xkalifornia (a great guy, by the way). It's the 36.2mm version. He bought it 6 months ago from an AD and provided me with all the paperwork and cards. The price was very right for an essentially new watch with 2 1/2 years of factory warranty left. After looking at several different Seamaster Aqua Tera watches, but had decided to focus on a Railmaster. So, when I got home from a Christmas Eve party, I saw xkalifornia's ad that he put up earlier that evening. I immediately contacted him and a series of e-mails and phone calls followed which culminated in deal a few days later. I have no problem with a watch that is the same size as my 1987 Rolex TT DJ 16013 which I love.Unfortunately, although I could snap the bracelet together, it strangled my wrist (I figured that would happen based on my looking at other Seamaster watches at the local AD). So, I ordered a couple of extra links from my local AD. The AD called t
All,I am currently considering the purchase of a Patek Philippe annual calendar, weighing the 5396 against the 5205. In both cases, I am slightly frustrated by the placement of the central pin on the '24' of the 24 hour dial. Moreover, in the case of the 5205, I cannot understand why the metal date aperture surround does not conform to the shape of the actual opening, extending beyond it and leaving an odd gap. Does anyone have any insight on these design decisions? Thanks
What do you guys think?Too big for a classic Tux watch?Possible alternatives? Thanks
