- Gift for my nine year old grandson. Favorite color is blue and he asked for an analog watch. He did not imagine it would glow in the dark or that it is a chronograph. The watch is terrific, especially for the price.

Although I did not start the earlier thread--- There were a lot of requests for a new poll... which one do you prefer--- 5980 vs 5990? If you already own or are currently considering.. or if you had to pick which one? However the 42 mm models intrigued me and looking at the online I knew I wanted to try some on.While in the boutique, the extremely helpful but not at all pushy sales associate did a great job walking me through the different models. I indicated a GMT model would be of particular interest, especially in 42 mm. She showed me several, but the PAM01537 really caught my eye. I really liked the blue second hand that was added to this model. The Power Reserve indicator on the dial was also something I quite liked. The GMT function with the forward and reverse quick 1 hour adjustments was also very slick. I thought it fit my wrist well too. The sales associate made me take a long hard look at the larger models as she ind
Getting my wife a surprise present to celebrate getting her dream job.I want to get her something timeless - something that, in 20 years, will still be a prominent feature of her collection. If I was getting one for a man it would be easy - a sub date/no date, but even though she's worn my sub and likes it, its way too big for her skinny wrists.Any suggestions on a timeless classic ladies piece?
