Hi, This is my first post on this forum. I've been searching for hours, on this forum and others, trying to find out what's wrong with my watch and although I've found people with a similar problem I am yet to find a reason.I've had my Omega Speedmaster for over 12 years and it worked great until a few years ago when it started losing significant time, to the point that unless I vigorously shook my wrist every few minutes it would eventually stop. I presumed that it was 'broken' somehow, but not sure how since it's never been subjected to any abuse.Now, I've read dozens of pages about winding Omega watches. Most seem to suggest that it should take about 30 to 40 turns. I've done at least this amount and the problem continues. Omega Speedmaster Professional Accuracy
I have owned this watch for about a month and it is 14 seconds slow. I originally set it to the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado within a second or two using the unofficial hacking feature of the watch. I was wondering if this is good in terms of accuracy for this watch? By the way, I bought it used from Swisswatchexpo and they said it had been serviced and calibrated. It is an older watch using the 861 movement too. In another post I have pictures. Thanks!

Seiko TiCN or PVD durability?
I am wondering if given a choice between SS and TiCN PVD on a Seiko watch, would you be concerned about the TiCN's durability? I am beguiled by the cool Seiko Pilots that look like Sinn fliegers.:D
