- I purchased this watch for myself for Christmas. I wanted the large mans watch face, but I am a person with wrists and a mans watch is too . This one is just right. Large face but band to fit better. I wear it all the time.

- I saw a lady on the train who was wearing a necklace that would go perfectly with this watch, only I believe that she paid much, much more. This is exquisite.

Piaget Piaget 33494 wrist watches news:
How many members bought watches to commemorate a special occasion or that were made the year of another important occurrence? I bought this Bulova because it was made in 1966 - the year I was born:and I recently discovered this Longines is also from 1966 as I was looking up a serial number for somebody else:My search for a Constellation pie pan netted me this purchase a few days ago, also from 1966:So how many others have similar reasons to buy a certain watch besides it being from the year you were born, like maybe when your child was born or some other reason. Post a pic an tell us a story!
In particular, I'm looking for the Montbrillant.
Hi all,At our staff Christmas party last weekend, four Omegas were proudly worn by staff.Viewing them all, I decided there and then that I have to have an Omega.Alas, I am not particularly well versed on Omega, so I would like to hear views on the following three models before I go shopping...212.30.41.20.01.0012220.80.002535.80.00Of particular interest to me are the pros and cons of the two different movements, and if there are any noted issues with either movement. Also, do limited edition watches mean inflated purchase prices? The watch I purchase will be a daily wearer (terra firma most often, office environment, country living - so some exposure to dust, dirt, animals), and probably an heirloom piece, so please take these two points into consideration for comments on wear and tear, as well as longevity of the watches.Thankyou in advance for your comments.
Hi Guys I'm new to the Patek side of these forums but have been on the Rolex side for a few years , I own several Rolex but now I've taken an interest in the 5167R-001 Rubber strap model. My local AD had told me that he can get me one within a month but other than liking the look of this watch I have no idea about it.The AD told me that there is usually a years waiting list for this watch but after dealing with Rolex Ads for many years I'm not sure I'd believe him.He also said the steel version had a 3 year waiting list but again I'm not really clued up enough to know if it's part of the sales pitch or not.So what I'd like to know is ..,Should I be looking at asking for a discount ? Is the waiting list really that long for the gold version and are the steel versions even that much longer ?Regards Jim
Treated my Gondolo Calendario to a little present to celebrate its 7th birthday. The watch came fitted with the 18ct Patek pin-buckle as standard, which I have always felt was penny-pinching by PP. I quickly fitted the strap with a Hirsch gold-plated deployant buckle and wore it that way for seven years. On my last trip to London, I picked up a new 18ct yellow gold Patek Philippe deployant buckle to complete my watch. Wasn't cheap, but hey, good old Mastercard, and I think it was worth it!Before, with the Hirsch buckle fitted...and now...Now back on my wrist!MW
