Rado 120929 wrist watches news:
This is my waltham transitional bought running for $ 50 in the uk . The watch is a size 0 has a 7 jewel movement and keeps excellent timing. image.jpgimage.jpg
Hi All: I recently bought a Swiss Army Vintage Infantry watch, and I have one question. When I turn the winding stem out to advance the date the hour hand advances in one hour increments with an audible clicking sound. So rather than advancing the date wheel a day at a time, I am advancing the hour hand as many times as it takes to reach the 12 PM hour and then the date wheel turns over. Does anyone know if this is how this watch operates? Or is there something wrong with it? The owner's manual is generally vague to suit various models and does not address this. I am asking because I have several watches, and do not usually wear any one of them for more than a few days. With my quartz watches, I pullout the winding stem to stop the watch when I am not wearing it just to save the battery (OK, I'm cheap). So when I go back to this Swiss Army watch I am needing to do a lot of turning to advance the date by several days. I really like this watch, and have no other concern
So I know there's a lot of nicknames that I've heard of for rolex watches but I haven't really heard any for a breitling. After purchasing my super avenger I realized it could have a nickname.....captain America and since he is an avenger it goes together. Blue background, white dials and red accent writing. Any thoughts on it? Should a breitling never be given a nickname? Just a thought that popped into my head todayimage.jpg
I have long wanted a high quality Swiss watch. I have never had an automatic before. But I have been thinking if I do step up to an Omega. Should I go ahead and get what would be my first auto, or stick with a quartz. What do you all suggest?
After years of wanting/waiting it arrived yesterday. I was torn between date/no date and after reading numerous posts I decided I wanted the classic and clean no date. I couldn¡¯t be more pleased. Thanks for all the advice and thoughts helping my decision. Merry Christmas....Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
