Help me find a good $200 watch...
Hello there I am new to this site and like what I am seeing very much! I am looking for a new watch and want to spend around $200 give or take. I do have a style of watch in mind that will work well as an every day user aswell as look nice when I need to dress up. I don't need any type of "dive" watches or crazy chronograph models with rotating bezels and huge faces. I am mainly looking for something sleek, comfortable and able to tell the time and date. As far as power I am open to opinions, I know there are battery, solar, movement, automatic powered watches and im not very educated so I dont know what works well and what I should be looking for. I will give you guys a list of my MUST haves and you can make some suggestions from there. I am not partial to swiss, german, british or asian, I just want the best quality watch for around $200.1. Must have a metal band, I dont like leather or rubber.2. Must have a second hand, I am a firefighter and need a second hand for taking pulses.3.

Some interesting observations about the latest World Time Pateksparing the 5131R from last year with the latest release of the 5131R with the revised cities ring it is evident that Patek has changed the circumference of the circle on which the outer cities wording is based - it has been reduced to conform to the new slightly smaller circumference used for the 5230. First picture shows 2015 version of 5131R and 2016 version of 5131R - it is difficult to clearly see any size difference in the circumference of the outer wording of the cities ring.Second picture shows a combined 2015 and 2016 cities ring. The right hand half of the cities ring is from the 2016 version and the left hand half is from the 2015 version. Which will show scratches easier. A PP Vs an AP?
Thinking of the Nautilus line vs the Royal Oak, and I just thought I would ask, since a lot of our members own or have owned both.Honestly just curious on which holds up better with scratches.Logic tells me that the brushed design on both should mean they would pretty much be the same with this matter.Do you find that one of the two holds up better, or perhaps shows the scratches less obviously?This is not my deciding factor for purchasing, just in case you were wondering.Thank in advance all!
