Rado 01.111.0479.3 wrist watches news:
This is the star new Ball watches of the year in my opinion. This timepiece is a smooth evolution of the Hydrocarbon watch design. It combines so much of what I like about Ball watches and presents it in a nicely refined package that I certainly feel has the quality of a new classic for the brand. No doubt there will be spin-offs on this design for a while to come. I recently discussed some Ball watches that I like when I was visiting with Ball in Las Vegas here. Enough of you commented positively that I realized I was not alone in appreciating this brand. Which means that I think enough of you will agree with me on this watch. The new watch is the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster X-Lume. Think of it as the astronaut-themed version of the Hydrocarbon watch. Most watches of this caliber really don't need and special enhancements to be good for use is space, but some new branding won't hurt. The watch uses a Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2836-2 movement that has the time, day, and date

For some reason I've been on a vintage kick lately and I'm pretty set on adding something vintage on a leather strap in the >$100 range. (Of course I can change the strap after I get it so that's not really a concern. I just don't have anything on leather right now and I love the way it looks.) Initially I was looking at the Swiss automatic Hamiltons but when I was perusing the eBays I came across several Tissot Seastar Automatics from the '60s and '70s that I really like.My understanding is that those are from a time when Tissot was considered an "entry level" Swiss brand (more so than now, at least), but were the Seastars good watches? Does anyone have one?Are there any other cheap automatic vintage watches I should be on the lookout for?
After many long years, months and days I finally managed to track down a complete and more importantly mint condition Alaska Project Limited Edition Speedmaster. To say that I'm over the moon ;) is an understatement of epic proportions. I just can't wait until it reaches my doorstep. Thanks George AB!Copper
I have always wanted a Patek 5980ss and I pulled the trigger on a blue dial 6 months old mint and complete. Was shipped FedEx yesterday from Los Angeles overnight priority and its sitting in Memphis since 1am this morning at FedEx hub. Looks like I will have to wait another couple days Very frustrated. One would think that after 27 years in jewelry business I would have learned to have more patience as these things happen every now and then but NOT when its for a Grail timepiece LOL
