Alpina and Cessna Hold Collaboration Event
To celebrate their collaboration, Alpina and Cessna recently held an event at Cessna Aircraft¡¯s headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. Selected VIP customers attended a presentation and viewed over 30 airplanes in different stages of production. Newbie question about magnetism.
Lovely - there is a forum for everything including watchwinders. Glad I found you guys.I heard someone state that a watchwinder could harm your watch in some way due to magnetism/magnetic fields?I am out on deep waters both when it comes to magnetic fields and also not sure my english is correct.Any comments?Best Regards

Question for you Speedmaster experts...
I have a vintage Speedmaster. I'm not sure exactly how old, because I long ago misplaced the serial number, but it's got to be 30 years old if it's a day. Anyhow, it needs a complete overhaul. Also, when running the chronograph function, one press of the top pusher actuates the stopwatch function, and a second press resets the second needle to 12:00. The bottom pusher essentially does nothing. This is no doubt a result of it being dropped by a family member some years ago.My questions--What is a reasonable fee for the overhaul?-What is wrong with the movement, and can it be easily repaired?Thanks for your help!

And it has arrived
It has arrived in all of its 47MM glory. The Pam 1305. I will say that it being about 10% thinner than the 305 is a big deal and the blue minute hand really sets it off. I would say to anyone looking for a dive watch to look at this or for the smaller wristed fellas the 42MM version. I believe this is about as good as it gets right here. I took more pictures but I cant seem to get them small enough to upload. Ill work on that later
