Hamilton Automatic Chronograph
When I went to the discount house to send my Erard off for adjustment today, I came home with yet another Hamilton. I don't favor automatic chronographs because of their necessary thickness and mechanical complexity - but I couldn't turn down this 38mm (I believe discontinued) one for about the cost of the Valjoux 7750 movement. Besides, I will probably never use the chronograph function, as I only use that when I am on my morning power-walks with my dog, when I always get sweaty and so need a bracelet. Anyhow, I've given up on finding a Large Boulton for a price I'm willing to pay for a quartz reintroduction, so this is my last watch for a while. I think it's pretty nice without losing the tool look, so it will find a regular place on my wrist when I'm in casual attire. The 38mm size and the leather strap make it ride lightly and comfortably on my wrist.

Hey All,I need a bit of help picking out a new watch. I'm looking between a 15400ST in white or black dial vs a SS Daytona for a daily. Now i love the Ap more, but just waned to know how the stainless wears daily. I have a 26320OR on strap and i love it but not sure how it would hold up if i wore it daily.

Incoming...from AP boutique in Tokyo
On my way out of Tokyo today I decided to visit the Tokyo boutique in Ginza because I had a later flighty an expected.Well... I thought I'd go in and just see the boutique only pieces but I guess I don't have the self control to just walk out. I wanted to repurchase a SS Diver I sold a while back....well I guess I'll have it in ceramic form instead! Hi All,there are 2 sets of numbers at the back of AP watches: NXXX and HXXX.may i know what do they stand for? N for Movement number and H for case number?Thanks in advanceCheers
