Ah, Tiffany & Co. With what reverence I hold your outsourced watch creations. No matter how much I understand your lack of personal involvement in manufacturing your timepieces, I can't help but be impressed by them. The pictures watch is the very nice looking Mark T-57 Tri Retrograde Chronograph model. The lineage of this model stems from the original Mark T-57 line. The Tri-Retrograde adds a customized automatic mechanical movement (of unannounced origins) that modifies a 12 hour chronograph with retrograde dials (instead of a full revolution, hands go to one end of a dial and shoot back to the start). The movement is further skeletonized. Thus, you can see some of the movement construction and operation through the dial itself. Hands remain bright red for legibility, and you have a white disc date window that is also partially exposed. The Tiffany & Co. Mark T-57 Tri Retrograde came in both stainless steel and 18k gold. Today 17 Omega enthusiasts from the Atlanta, GA area met to talk watches and share a meal. It was a fun gathering and there were some fine watches displayed. Cheers, Bill P.
Lately there has been talk about the Omega movements 33xx that are not reliable. Want to know if the 3304 is one of them? The 3304 movement is coming in the new Speedmaster Date models with the registers at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and the date window at 4. The Speedmaster date also comes with registers at 12, 9, and 6 and window date at 3, that model has the 1164 caliber instead.Any feedback on them is appreciated. Thanks
Just got the AP Jumbo 15202 and really happy with this special piece. It was between this or the 15400 in the end after trying on and reading about the history and heritage of the royal oak it was a no brainer decision. In fact if funds allow I would get the 15400 in blue as well as I hear its being discontinued and it would be great as a daily wearer while the Jumbo for more special occasions. I used to own a rubber clad offshore and a Safari years ago both of which is no longer in my collection today but at this time I am interested in getting an offshore to complement the dressier Jumbo. Which offshore would you recommend? Thinking of:- The steel 44mm chrono offshore - Diver in steel- Panda chrono 42mm- Safari again ?- bumble bee Thanks for your suggestions and advise ..
Hey Folks- I simply cannot stop staring at this watch since I got it a few weeks ago! ItĄ¯s incredible both aesthetically and from the feeling on the wrist. Took a pretty cool picture on my iPhone the other day while at the beach, wanted to share it with you all.
