- I only wear it on the boat. Wore it to the office one day and everyone went nuts. If you're even thinking about it, just buy it, you know you want it, your wife won't even notice.

- I purchased the watch last year. Still works perfectly... The watch looks great and has a very nice feel. The bracelet is very wide and sturdy along with the clasp. I am very happy with my purchase so far!

Hello hello, I am quite new to the complex world of watches and was hoping to get some help. I only own one piece at the moment and I'm pretty sure it falls under the fashion watch category. I thought I would ask all the experts here for some advice on acquiring a worthwhile timepiece. Although I am not well acquainted with the different brands in terms of quality, I do have a good idea of the type of watch I am looking for (I will try to narrow it down as much as possible# for better or for worse haha).I am looking for a classic/dress watch; with leather straps; a simple watch face (preferably with a small second); something on the slimmer side; lastly# I was hoping to find something around $1000# but from what I*ve seen so far I don*t know how realistic that is. I have included a few pictures for reference (most of these I think are more than double my budget range). Thanks in advance for your wisdom 027-5202-00-big.jpgD_251_LudAuto_464x396.jpgL4.746.8.72.0.jpgM1-39-15-LB.jpg
Hey guys, just wanted to get your thoughts. I have an Omega Aqua Terra that I got as one of my wedding presents a couple years ago. I wore it quite a bit before I bought my Rolex but now it doesn't get much wrist time. As I have 4 watches and 3 of them are on a metal bracelet, I decided to pick up a strap for the Omega. Due to a lost shipment, I bought a second different strap. Well I have finally received the lost shipment (and reimbursed the seller for the strap). Which one do you guys like best (not planning on putting it back on a bracelet for a while):Medium Brown Ostrich look leather:Dark Brown Hirsch strap (not my picture - I ordered the same strap and it is in transit):
I have a friend who is in Tampa on exercise with the US army. He is keen to buy a omega gmt seamster 2535.80.00. I said I would ask on the forum to try and find out the best place to buy one and how much could he save. I can get home one for ㏒2160 brand new in the UK. I am just wondering if he would save more state side. Many thanks for any help.
Went into a AD for Audemars today looking to get more information about one of their pieces. I have seen Panerais around but never thought to much about them. The salesperson explained to me about their history and story and I decided to look a little closer, saw a couple of rose gold pieces which were spectacular, perhaps after a little research and some time with the brand they may be on the list. I was in a bit of a hurry and found this little gem, ended up leaving the store in about 15 minutes with this in tote. I have never spent so little time researching a watch or agonizing over the purchase. I must say it was kinda fun.
