Jaeger LeCoultre Q2018470 wrist watches news:
This week's Bring A Loupe brings us back to the 1950-'60s era with some rare watches from Longines, Minerva, and Rolex. Time-only, chronograph, and dive watches are all represented here, underlining the timeless beauty of vintage timepieces. We have also selected the best lots from an upcoming Omega auction in Sweden, including a very nice Omega Speedmaster with an interesting orange hand. This is your Bring A Loupe for October 23, 2015. A Very Rare Longines, The Reference 2160 With Mushroom Pushers 1 OF 12 Usually, I don't feature non-functioning watches but I had to make an exception for this Longines from the 1930's. You can immediately see how rare it is, with one glance at its mushroom pushers and another at the legendary 13-ZN movement with fly-back function. The downside of this watch is obviously its poor condition, from a washed-up dial to a movement that needs some serious servicing. It is evidently too special to be called a project watch
I ran across K2 Luxury on chrono24, they listed many new Patek watches for sale with Patek's two-year international warranty, often with great prices, though they're not an AD. Has anyone had any experience with K2 Luxury? Are they a reputable company? Thanks.
Wife’s back , this year I didn’t ask for anything but she still said she got me a lil something. She visited the panerai store , the original! Apparently no pics allowed inside, but she snuck one in so I can see the straps I’ve always wanted an assolutamante in dark brown !
See my old thread for the sad story up to now. However, it gets worse. In summary for those who don't want to check the link... the hour hand on his 312 would not hit the hour marker dead center on the hour. I.e. 1, 2, 3 o'clock etc. He had an AD send to Panerai to adjust and it came back exactly the same. Subsequent efforts resulted in no change..rolexforums/showthread.php?t=493894My buddy had the AD send the watch BACK to Panerai again. They said it had to go back to Switzerland. Whatever...as long as one of their folks can fix this hour hand situation. So the AD calls him back and says this is what Panerai will do...1. $100 for a polish 2. replace the dials3. replace the hands4. clean the bracelet, buckle for $236Estimated turnaround time... SIXTEEN WEEKS!!! :He scratched the bezel himself / wanted it taken care of...this is insane I told him. Besides. If they intended to refinish the rest of a barely worn 312, that is more insanity.OK...re: #2 & 3...they won't charge him. But
