- I really love this watch. I bought it in black about 6 months ago and I loved it. I get compliments every time I wear it. So I decided to get it in red too. It is just as nice.

Breitling AB012012/BB01 wrist watches news:
My name is Roger. Same as one of Hamilton's 1955 14K solid yellow gold models...So I just had to have one!! Which of course kicked me off on acquiring 'R' named pre-1960 Hamiltons!! Eight so far in the past 6 weeks; plus one on the way (Raleigh 1931 Motif Engraved) and one that's been deemed an honorary 'R' - "Round 22J" until its real name is known. Mr Ross is completely unwell and is awaiting a heart/lung transplant. The stark lighting for these images has highlighted every scratch - yuk! NOS crystals are either in hand or awaited for the whole lot and the plan is to get some or all of the faces refinished as time and cash permits. Keeping my eyes peeled for Messrs Reardon, Raymon, Ryan, Rutledge (insert insane giggle emoticon) as well as alternative face types or better examples of all vintage Rs.Apologies for the very ordinary images; looking forward to setting up a better light source and background. A project for another time; channelling funds to watches is much more fun!

I had a Citizen chrono that was stamped "Water Resistant 100M", I had it for 8 years, splashed around in the Atlantic ocean one weekend, no diving, barely submerged, and a few days later it stopped working, I though it was the battery. Took it to two jeweler¡¯s and they said water got into the case through the chrono buttons and damaged the movement, est $360.00. I said "but it say's water resistant 100m", they said unless it has screw down crowns it's not water proof, so I said "then why are some watches stamped 100m other 300m, and you can't even wash a car in them?" I gotta shrug from one jeweler, the other wanted to show a new chrono, what gives?
Hi Fellas,Was wondering; is there a public data base, or list of some sort that exists, so you can check the serial number of an AP watch? For Example; I'm looking to buy a RO Diver I series and want to reference the serial, or case number? Thanks in advance for your timeCheers
Hi all, as a few already know I have a 5712-1A, and honestly I have never seen in real any other blue dial Nautilus, well apart from the 2 tome 5980, but it has a very special kind of blue, which to my knowledge no other Nautilus has, except for maybe the 5711P, but I still think they are different since I don't see any high end watch maker putting a platinum blue on a SS watch, and when I look at the Patek website, on pics the 5712 blue has nothing to do with the other blue Nautilus dials, so was wondering, is it just the pics which give this impression and is the 5712 blue the same as the 5711, 5980 blues of the SS models or is it really different? For those who haven't noticed I invite you to look on the Patek site and the difference is clear, at least on pics. Thanks in advance for your insights and helping develop my Patek culture, yes I know I am just at the beginning of the road there is still a long journey ahead but as much as I know about Patek since I am a child, I never had
