A new addition to my collection - Thin-O-Matic from 1965
This nice 14K Hamilton Thin-O-Matic was just dropped off at my office only a few minutes ago. Sorry for the off white balance pictures. I was using my friend's camera and could not hit the WB settings to save my life ;)The watch is actually in a better shape than these pictures show. I am very happy to add this piece into my 'birth year 1965 collection' that now includes Omega Speedie, Breitling Navitimer & Bulova.I think that after good service and new alligator this one will be in a tip-top shape !The first Hamilton I found has an engraving of an exact birthday of my father !! What a luck !

New Vintage Hamilton, what do I have?
Hello all, New here, just picked up this old Hamilton off ebay for $19. Anyone have any idea what I've got? It needs a new crown/stem. Not sure how I will fix that. I'm taking the TimeZone watch school class now, I wonder if I will have enough knowledge after that to attempt a repair myself? Hmmm

ROO 44mm FC - new strap!
I'm sure you're all tired of seeing Forged Carbon Offshores by now, but thought it was appropriate to show what it looks like with the best available OEM strap Seriously, they should've included the Grand Prix strap as the default strap for all FC 44mm pieces. Rubber just doesn't do it justice, especially with the dial's color scheme and red accents.

New Omega Botique coming to Somerset Collection in Michigan
This may have already been posted, I dont spend much time on the Omega forum. But I just was at the very upscale Somerset Collection in Troy, MI and sall this storefront right across from the existing Tourneau. Interesting that Tourneau will lost the Omega line, as well as losing the Rolex line a few months ago. Ouch. Always have terrible experiences at this Tourneau. Looking forward to the new Omega Botique.

My biggest regret of the weekend.....
I didn't get a wrist shot with Thierry Stern!! Met him, talked to him, took a picture with him, told him I loved the new direction with some of the more larger modern 42 mm sized Patek's. He checked out my 5905 and like a dumbass I forgot to ask for a wrist shot.But I did manage to get some great pics with some of the others that were in attendance:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
