Seiko SNKM70 wrist watches news:
Ten years after opening its manufacture in Neuchatel, Switzerland, Officine Panerai has announced that it will be breaking ground on a new factory at Pierre-¨¤-Bot, on the hills above Neuchatel. All the company’s development, production and assembly of watches and movements will be transferred to the new production facility, set to open by the end of 2013. The new factory aims to streamline Panerai¡¯s current production process. Currently, all the stages of development ¡ª including manufacturing the various components, assembly and quality control ¡ª take place at different production sites. The unification of these various stages in a single, significantly larger location is intended to yield higher production capacity, greater independence at all stages of production, and better quality control. With 10,000 square meters of space, the new manufacture will house 290 employees, including master watchmakers ¡ª 130 more than are presently employed at the current manufacture building in t
Hey Guys - I just found out that CollectionWatches (the folks behind the Guido Mondani authored Rolex books which I've review) has released a new App in the iTunes App Store - click here for the announcement on their site:I plan on purchasing it tonight, and doing a review on the application for WATCH TALK FORUMS. It sounds like a very neat, very useful application - the first Rolex related content I've seen in the App store too!-John
Thank you all for your replies to my problemI talked to MARAL in customer service at the Beverly Hills rolex service center, she is a really really nice lady! she assured me that the watchmakers there would take very good care of the watch and that not to worry about a thing because the techs will check it all out and make sure its good to go before they send it back to Rolex store in south coast plaza. the staff at the rolex store was very very nice as well, but it just sucked that i couldnt just get a new one even though it left the store for less than 24hrs. oh well i guess thats just life. Thanks again everyone!!! Tecky
Andyfr, a new member posted today about where to find one of these in this country...That led me to think that I can't remember one of these owned in our Forum...With a 42mm SS case, split-time, flyback functions, ETA quartz 251-292 movement. I would think that someone would be interested...Does anyone dare say because it is quartz movement?
I just decided that my Seiko and Hamilton are too nice to be on my wrist while I'm pulling wrenches on the car or digging in the yard so I went out and bought a watch which I have every intention to beat the hell out of. What do you use for activities that you'd rather not see your loved watches be a part of?
