TAG Heuer CAR2110.FC6266 wrist watches news:
Love the ad copy.Love the gold bubbles.Love the domed bezel.Love the new bracelet.Love the idea of a TT dresswatch.I even like the diamonds on the markers, something that usually doesn't work for me.I don't love that I have no money for another watch:mad:What do you think of this "new" DJ? On a different note, isn't it great to have a place like this to play?I can't talk to any of my friends about my love for Rolexes as they'd think I was materialistic and a bit weird. I can't explain to them why I feel the need to go back to NYC this spring, if luck has it, and attend another GTG. WTF is a great place to hang out, read silly Rolex related threads, learn stuff about new and old Rolexes, and air "the love" you have for particular models. I'm grateful to have this site. Thanks to our moderators and WTF's owner for doing all this hard work to make this place happen. Without this, I wouldn't have had the interest to buy more than one Rolex, nor would I have 1/10th the knowledge I have
I am not a collector of Elgin watches, really, but I have already two, both heirloom pieces (Dad's early '50s DeLuxe wristwatch; great grandpa's 1923 pocket watch).Soon to join these in the collection is a very neat steel "tank" from 1932, with original bracelet. Both have a great checkerboard or brick pattern (can't decide which, but probably the latter). Measures a rather slim but long 21 x 39mm. Should arrive in a couple of days.Reportedly has the 15 jewel Elgin grade 484 movement.
Avenger Sweawolf Chrono A body of steel, cutting-edge technology: Breitling plunges towards new records by presenting the Avenger Seawolf Chrono, the world's only chronograph to be both watertight and operational at a depth of 3,300 feet (1000 meters).Whereas most chronographs cannot be activated while diving so as to prevent water seeping in through the pushpieces, Breitling has achieved a major technical breakthrough by developing the magnetic pushpiece principle, involving controls operated through the metal of the case and thus avoiding any direct contact between the pushpiece and the movement. This exclusive Breitlingpatented device represents a peerless technical accomplishment that is matched by a powerful and functional design. The sturdy steel case fitted with a decompression valve features alternating matt satin-brushed upper surfaces and polished sides ¨C as does the rider-tab bezel. The dials are adorned with large "stencil" type numerals, oversized hands and luminescent mark
