Raymond Weil 5388-ST-50081 wrist watches news:
Today, Speedmaster became a powerful brand with more than 50 years of proven history. Famous models of the Speedmaster series are the Collection of legend Speedmaster, Speedmaster Day-Date, Speedmaster Broad Arrow and ladies Speedmaster. The mere mention of Omega Speedmaster Racing chronometer evokes the image of Michael Schumacher, posing with his famous victorious smile.
Can someone help me identify what year & model this is. I think it's between 71-75' and came from Europe. I got this when I was a kid back around 77' from my grandfather. I recently got it working again. New second hand sweep, crown & crystal. It is a self winding, quick set day date calendar. The gold electro plate is pretty much gone. I think the watch tech said it was a Felsa movement. Thanks for the help,Odin
Hello All,I hope this post will not end up being controversial as it is not designed to be.I used to own a non-watch collecting forum for a while (which sold - naming no names if that is ok) and was a moderator on a couple of others. One fun thing we did occasionally was a Missing In Action thread in the public or general talk forum. This was basically aimed at posters that had just disappeared, who were once valuable members of the community. We found a few would come back and say "hello" (as often they still lurked and read posts without logging in). Some even came back full time and made the place busier and more enjoyable as a result. This is my favourite watch forum. It's where I learned the most and came to first. I would love to see the place busier so I wondered if this would be worth a "call out" to all our long lost brothers that are M.I.A? I'll start (I hope this isn't controversial?) I saw some posts from a guy called "Darkheart" the other day. He seemed to be a good guy and
Since getting my ceramic diver, I've been thinking of getting another AP. One that's more 'dressy' to round things off as the diver is my daily beater.Eyeing the Royal Oak chrono for Christmas or early next year. But torn between black or white face. Black had more modern feel. White has more class. To me that is. What do you guys suggest?
Would like to share new income. Although I own SD43, but the DSSD Blue was always in my mind, and now with discontinuity rumors, trigger was pulled as soon as I found it yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
