- Classy, yet delicate and would be great to wear to work. I like that it is feminine and beautiful, yet practical! A must for the 9 to 5 work girl! The price is just right for my hard earned money! The numbers are easy to read at a glance! I t would be fun to spoil yourself with this lovely watch!

I was looking at a old video about the Finnish "1000 lakes" rally from 1968 on youtube when I saw a stopwatch marking the seconds before a car started but it was not sweep-hand. As far as I remember quartz watches started to circulate around 1970 something what was that then?Is the video not original or did there exist non-sweep hand mechanical or electric stop-watches in 1968? Hi all, I am travelling to London and Paris next week on holiday and am in the market for a Speedmaster. I know there are lot of variants however I am looking for the traditional Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. From my reading on this forum it sounds like Rolex sport watches are in a bit of a shortage in these cities but wasn't sure about Omega. Can you please advise if you are from either area or have been recently how strong my chances are of finding one in either city? Also does anyone know the MSRP in London or Paris for this model? Thanks.
GdayThis is my old Cosmic 2000. When I was 18 I wanted to get a good automatic watch and I love Omegas so when I saw this in a second hand jewellery shop I had to have it. It was on a black strap that I didnt like so I put it on this steel Hirsch bracelet. I wore this watch full time from June 2001 to September 2003 when I saw a new tank style Citizen EcoDrive chrono and retired the Omega. I have a few watches but other things took my attention over the past few years and not wearing a watch on weekends meant autos were always dead on Monday morning and i'm in a rush to get ready for work, I always grabbed the EcoDrive. Now i've gotten back into watches a bit and the EcoDrive has been a great watch but its a bit sterile. Ive found this forum which is great! And I don't have a lot of knowledge about the Cosmic 2000's. I thought I would post it here and ask you guys for any info on the model. I think its from the early 70's? Any info you can share is appreciated. How much are they worth
Hi guys, does the nautilus 5980 chronograph come without a date function?
