Seiko SNKK57 wrist watches news:
If there were a search for the last honest watch on Earth ¨C a watch that embodies down to the deepest fiber of its being what it really means to be a genuine tool watch, and not just a (generally overpriced) illustration of what a tool watch used to be, chances are very good that it would be a Casio G-Shock. Unloved by many who think of themselves as real watch lovers, the G-Shock is very much loved by those who need a watch that will put up with the very roughest use the very roughest and most dangerous jobs can dish out. G-Shocks are worn by more than a few hipsters and would-be hipsters these days, but they're also worn by the thousands by police officers, firefighters, special forces operators, regular Army guys and gals ¨C you name it. A $150 Tough Solar G-Shock will last basically indefinitely and will as for absolutely nothing in return for flawless performance other than that you don't expose it to a nuclear explosion. So what the heck is Casio doing in offering a $6,200 G-Shock
Hello everyone. Some of you might recall that I acquired my first automatic watch last summer (old forum stuff ;)), a nice orange face Seiko SKXA55 "Bullet" diver.Well, as some of you might know this watch bug thing is kinda addicting, and I've been eyeing possible "next to get"-watches practically everyday. As the diver I have is orange faced, it is a bit bright at some occasions. Fortunately, I don't have to dress up to work, but I'd still like to have a watch that would be a little more classic/stylish. I would also like it to be swiss and have a ETA movement. My favorite in the (possible to try on in real life and) less than 400 $ range is (and has been for 4 months now) the Tissot PRS 516 non chrono on brown leather racing strap. Do you have any opinions on it? It is ETA 2836-2 equipped, and has a nice "sporty" vibe about it. Not sure about the strap yet (the holes), but I'll try it on before I make any judgments. In addition, I think Tissots designs are genuine and the brand and t
For the price, this could be the best beater watch ever made. Does anyone have it?
I am thinking a half link would help gain a better fit on my new AP and there is not much info to be had on what links are available from AP. Would any one know the price of a 1.5 link in Rose Gold and the availability of such a link? I have a call in with an AD but have not heard back and figured someone here must have knowledge of one or might have already purchased one. Any info greatly appreciated.
Is it an annual thing, like other manufacturers? I see others starting to increase prices post-Basel. I'm planning on a 15202, and will be in Miami at the end of the month. I wanted to see about getting it at the boutique, but don't want to risk a price increase before I can pull the trigger. My local AD can order one in at any time.
