Vacheron Constantin announces a new model: the Malte Moon Phase and Power-Reserve. The barrel-shaped case measures a generous 39 x 49mm. The dial is adorned with five different finishes. The inner zone features a silvered, finely hand-guilloch¨¦ ¡°Clous de Paris¡± or hobnail motif. The outer zone is decorated with a vertical satin-brushed finish, also silvered. The minute circle, the power-reserve display as well as the inscriptions Vacheron Constantin Gen¨¨ve and Swiss Made are all transferred, while the seconds subdial at 6 o¡¯clock is circular satin-brushed. And finally, the minute-circle and power-reserve zones are screen-printed in white. The moon-phase display is composed of a disc with a galvanized base and a moon face in 18k white gold or pink gold, depending on the model. My New Acquisition Policy
As I'm sure we are all aware, things can get very crazy when it comes to collecting/acquiring watches. There are just so many to choose from and often I find myself unable to stay focused, keeping my "eye on the prize(s)", so to speak. Now, there are quite a few different pieces that I want, such as a Breitling Colt, Stowa Flieger and maybe even that grail Blancpain! That said, I have come to the conclusion that I am most definitely an Omega guy.;) To that end, I thought I would chase some vintage pieces, but with a theme. I recently acquired the perfect Omega Seamaster Cosmic that I had been after for a year, complete with the dial, movement and features I sought (day/date, stainless case) from my birth year of 1969. I am going to try and get a Seamaster and Constellation with the same features from the same year, with a Dynamic an outside possibility. I may eventually drop the feature requirement to add a DeVille and Speedmaster as well.First, what does everyone think of this

AP Owners - Like your watch on a winder when it's not on your wrist?
Curious what the consensus is around here, or if there even is one. Do you let your APs run down when not on the wrist or keep them going on a winder? What's better in the end for service etc...

Daytona 116515ln black dial vs choc..NEED HELP
hello all i am due to pull the trigger on this watch soon i am just so torn between the 2....love the choc as looks lovely in light/daylight, also 1 the only dials with numbers which gives it some exclusivity...but the black is also gorgeous and will stand out more in darker lights...i think the black stands out more overall or maybe im wrong? Need help and opinions please! Also any wrist shots in darker lighting areas of the 2 maybe...cheers all
