Seiko SNY012J1 wrist watches news:
I'm really angry with my AD  because I ordered the 1513.51.00 Omega Constellation Double Eagle Perpetual Calendar, I paid in advance, and was waiting for the watch to arrive, but today I received a phone call from them, and they told me, that they were told by Omega Switzerland, that they can't sell this watch, as it's discontinued I still see it advertised in the Omega website, usually when a model is discontinued, they place "Sold Out" below the watch model...Is there any restrictions on some watch models? not to be sold in some countries? I think Omega didn't do this...Or, is my AD lying? maybe they forgot to include my watch in the big order, and giving an excuse?Any experiences about this?
Hello, I have recently inherited an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch from my father. I knew it was something special and it has been fascinating researching the watch and uncovering more about it. The Moonwatch of this era is a such fascinating piece, the more I read the more I understand the appeal. From what I have been able to figure out it looks like a circa 1968 Pre moon Professional with the c312. It has the 2 step case back. It has the 7912 (rare I hear) bracelet which functions perfectly. The watch was worn for most of its life by my father and works perfectly bar a non zeroing chronograph, although the stop/start function works. As far as I know it is 100% original. It was well worn so has scratches on the plexiglass crystal commensurate with age, but the case and strap are very clean.I would be most interested if anyone else could shed some light on the images they see here, and let me know if I a right or wrong in my assumptions. I am very much a novice so I genuinely appreciate yo

Being new to your forum, I hope I'm posting in the appropriate area. I'm considering the purchase of a new ladies Seiko in an automatic movement only. I'm not a fan of quartz movements. Do you have any suggestions for me please as I'm not very familiar with the new Seiko lines in ladies. My main interest in Seiko has been more in the vintage watches such as the 6139's and 6138's. Thanks for any ideas that you may have.
Of all the watches in production today (75 years from now) which ones do you think will be the most sought after vintages? IĄŻll throw the blue dial Omega Aqua Terra in the mix. Because of its understated elegance it almost looks vintage now. And yes I am bias on this because it is my favorite watch that I own. Which watches would you add to the list?
