A couple of months ago when I was shopping for a GMT for my collection, I stopped by a local AD to check out the Rolex offerings. The Explorer II was exactly what I was looking for but the Cyclops was a major turn-off - especially when I saw the Sea-Dweller Date sitting next to it. The dial of the SDD was absolutely stunning without the ¡°bubble¡± obstructing it.The AD¡¯s watchmaker overheard me complaining about the Cyclops on the EXPII and said, ¡°No problem, I can remove it.¡± He explained that he would immerse a new crystal in solvent for a day or so, remove the ¡°bubble¡±, install the new crystal in place of the original, pressure test the watch, and return the original along with the my Explorer II. He even offered to perform the service at no cost if I bought the ¡°Z¡±/3185 the AD had in stock ¨C at the 2008 MSRP.Fortunately I was able to obtain a NIB ¡°M¡±/3186 elsewhere at a substantial discount:

Hi everyone. I noticed the other day the review for the Glycine Airman Base 22, very nice watch by the way, that it had a logo of a crown. I know Rolex is another brand with a crown as their logo. If I remember there is maybe one more brand with a crown logo. Just don't remember which? Does anyone know which watch I am talking about? Thanks for your help.

Hello,New here, i was wondering if i could get some links to sites that sell watch cases.Other than ofrei, i am having trouble finding what i am looking for. I have a 40mm pam homage case on its way from jackson ( military time) but i was wondering if there were any other legit dealers out there that have a better selection than just the typical parnis style cases.Any help is appriciated!thanks,PJ
