- I am very surprised by other reviews. I love this watch. It is very sturdy as I have not had any cracks or scratches in either the ceramic or the glass face. I get compliments on it often.

- Being a watch lover who looks for high quality specimens with unique characteristics, this watch fits the bill. It is not for the average watch user who just wants the date and time with no complications.

Seiko SNDE03 wrist watches news:
So, I am reading up on classic American watches and come across a section on the "Character" watches for kids.Hummmm, I was a kid.I go searching through a bunch of old boxes and lo and behold...My original Mickey, Snoopy and a couple others I must have traded a yo-yo for. There is one with the original box (how it is still there, don't ask?)1971, "Bradley Time, A division of ELGIN!"Pretty cool huh?Anybody else have some of these around?

Important warning to all who would think about buying a watch through Chrono24.comI bought a Vacheron Constantin watch using their mis-named "Trusted Checkout" from a "trusted seller"The seller, from Italy, did NOT fill out the required CITES paperwork declaring a crocodile band, so US Fish and Wildlife has seized the package. Given I had sent a bank wire transfer to Chrono24.com because I used their "trusted checkout", I have, of course asked them to refund my money. I have no response from them other than "we have contacted the seller."I do not expect any further response from chrono24.com and the seller refuses to respond to my emails now that they have been paid by chrono24.comOf course I emailed the seller, no response, likely because they already have my bank wire transfer.I emailed Chrono24 about this and all they email back is "We have contacted the seller and are waiting for a response"Obviously there has been no response, so I have no watch and no money.Their website says t

I couldn't have handled the stress much longer - thankfully the wait is over.I visited AD Springer's Jewelers in Portsmouth, NH on 2/27. I've no purchase history at all with these folks. I was wearing my 5512. Every two - three months, their Rolex Rep visits. He was there on 2/27.They had one SD43, but it'd been ordered by another customer. The sales person said she'd order one for me, with a probable six to eight week delivery time. Then the Rep entered the discussion - very interested in my 5512 and obviously impressed I'd owned it fifty-two years. He said he'd get me an SD43, soon.I paid a 50% deposit, stopped at the drug store for a case of Tums, and went home to worry and read more TRF threads about unpleasant AD experiences and wait lists.Early this afternoon, 3/14 my sales person emailed four words, : Your watch is here. I was astounded. As it turned out, so were they. Les, the Rolex Rep kept his word. The SD43's not at Springer's now, because it's here at home, on my wrist. I'm
